I mean the following text....
Re: Monster Hunter G Wii New English Patch
Majority of those are not stored in main.dol and will take some more digging to find their strings.
I will be looking into the Wisdom of the Chief text after I'm done item, weapon, and armour descriptions.

Re: Monster Hunter G Wii New English Patch
I'm still searching through them to try and find them, I haven't found where yet.
Re: Monster Hunter G Wii New English Patch
They are likely somewhere in 0000.fpk if you can figure out how to un pack and repack them please let me know.

"FPKtool" seems to work extracting this kind of files...
https://github.com/Shadowth117/FpkTool/releases/tag/1.0
http://www.mediafire.com/?vty5jymlmm2
How to use:
Extract the FPKTool.exe to the same folder as the FPK files you would like to extract.
Then, go to the command (cmd) prompt in that folder, and type "fpktool.exe -u *FPKNAME* *FOLDERNAME*".
Fill in the FPKNAME with the name of the FPK file you'd like to extract (usually 0000.fpk), and the foldername with the folder to extract it to.
Example:
fpktool.exe -u 0000.fpk mhgwii
Re: Monster Hunter G Wii New English Patch
Have you tested both of these? All I'm getting are error's on my end for the first tool and the second tool doesn't fully extract the files.dragonslayer wrote: ↑Tue Oct 22, 2024 9:34 am"FPKtool" seems to work extracting this kind of files...
