Lavasioth in FU. I'm not a huge fan of them and I don't really dig the hunt, but also,the quests they appear in are often given by a certain "Capricious (or selfish, i'm not sure) Princess". And if you read the quest description, she really is ! It's like, bring back a Lavasioth so I can win a fishing contest, and such nd I really did not want to hunt a monster for such irresponsible reasons :'(

I really hate Diablos in 5th gen, I'm really incapable of killing him with an insect glaive, I'm mostly fine with a heavy bowgun or gunlance but he always extends his hitbox like 3 kilometers in the air while I'm trying to get out of the way. Meanwhile on MH1 I really disliked the Cephalodrome fight, it's everything I hated about Jyuratodus, Lavasioth and Diablos together in one monster, even worse that I didn't know how to craft sonic bombs yet maybe with a metric ton of sonic bombs it would be more enjoyable

Viper tobi-kadachi. It was the first monster to pop into my head immediately and I HATED that fight.
Which is funny cause I don't mind fighting normal tobi-kadachi at all.

I have one I used to rather not hunt.

I used to hate hunting Cephadrome. I hated that he stuck around in the ground all the time and he seemed utterly boring. That was 6 years ago. When I picked up 1J earlier this year I learned to love the sand fish. He is hilarious. He makes funny noises. He's very predictable. He makes you enjoy the item preparation, getting my sonic bombs ready for a cephadrome quest and then absolutely smashing sand into his silly face is just peak joy now.
