We have finally enabled the ability to use spoilers!
They can be used for many things - hiding big images, preventing people from getting spoiled, and so on. It can also be used in many different ways, so click below for examples.

As such, we ask that you at least be considerate. Something that someone obviously might consider a spoiler, for example gathering maps, or final bosses, are probably better off spoilered than not. While we won't have an official "rule" about this, at least not at present, it is generally advisable that you are considerate of who you are speaking to. If someone explicitly says in their own topic that they don't want to be spoiled, don't spoil them.
Finally, for folks who may be confused about why someone would care about spoilers for old games, consider this: 2 out of the 3 "Oldschool" Monster Hunter games were never even released in the west! The vast majority of people who play them on the private server, and discuss them online, will be playing them for the first time. The joy of discovery is often very rewarding in these games!
