What Lance to build for online and gathering spot for mining

I'm still HR5 online, but for offline i'm trying get babel spear, but it take a lot ore to build, so i wonder what is the best map to gathering ore in general, i appreciate it for answer!

Generally for ores I recommend hunting a Basarios. The Volcano is also generally the best map for ores, so you can kill two birds with one stone hunting Basarios there, since you can mine AND you'll get ore in the quest rewards.

On the lance side of things, a commonly held belief is that Undertaker - the final upgrade in the Rusted Lance branch is one of the best lances you can get offline. If you're mining in Volcano, like Lutyrannus suggested, you'd actually be killing three birds with one stone, because you'll likely be getting the Ruststones from those northern areas of the map, which will eventually yield you a Rusted Lance, along with a lot of other generally good weapons. You'll need a ton of cash and Earth Crystals to get it to the point where it is usable, but it's definitely worth it. Luckily you'll be mining a lot, so maybe it's four birds?! Another community favourite is Ogre Tusk, which a whole different grind of a thing, but also a very good lance in its own right.
