Would you play base MH4 if an English Patch is released?

Monster Hunter 4 is the first 4th gen game in the Monster Hunter series. It is the second game in the aforementioned series to be released on the Nintendo 3DS. Two new Weapon Classes are introduced in this game, one of them being the Insect Glaive.

Great to see so many people interested! We could play online together!

i probably would just for shits and giggles

mh4u means alot to me so being able to play its 'base' predecessor would be really cool regardless of how limited it might be!

It will be cool, even because it is the last Monster Hunter from the main series to be translated.

Personally I think that each game has its own unique experience that you can only have if you play it, it may be something broken like it was in Freedom 2 but due to most of the players refusing to experience it they always think that Freedom Unite is the best choice, but personally I'd say that I prefer to play Freedom 2 over Freedom Unite anytime. I'm eager to see how this game will be and how the next one will be regarding to it.

sure, count me in :)

i always like the non-G games better than the G equivalents, so I expect that would hold for this game too, even if charge blade is gutted compared to 4G

I remember seeing MH4 in a store last year and it stunlocked me. Almost bought it too before realizing it would all be in JP. So sure I'd give it a try maybe

Hmm... I don't think so... afaik the changes aren't that great (unlike tri vs 3U)

So it doesn't have a lot of interest from me tbh
