Corrupt save data

Is having dev weapons in your inventory and using them only when playing offline considered cheating and that's why my save data was corrupted?
We can't really corrupt your save data. If we catch someone using cheated equipment online, we block their access to the server, we wouldn't corrupt your save data. That being said, do not use cheated weapons, whether dev weapons or not.
