After seeing a crazy Kirin from Amanda I thought it'd be fun to set up a thread where people can post their best times in the Hunter Dojo! If there's enough interest we can set up leaderboards as well. I'm still a bit behind but I'll definitely be posting times once I'm through the rest of the village content.

Alright, first maybe include the word "spoiler on the name of the thread" so people that don't want to get spoiled about the arena can not touch this post.

Well, I guess the best way to prove our times is to show the quest itself!

My strategy was trying to get kirin hit with the chest bombs and the ones you get from bowgun, then not miss a single shot from the level 3 pellet bullet, lastly, good rng and being a bit far from kirin as much as possible so more pellets connect for more damage, a 2 minutes run could be possible but there is no much room for error.

my kirin arena time definitely can't compete with that yet... though i got a decent time against shogun recently:

ah, i just thought i'd put the images in a spoiler block to save on space. i guess keeping them in the post normally is fine, i'll do that in future posts here

i used the sns gear! my main idea was to break ceanataur's back shell as quickly as possible, to be able to hit his main body from behind. sns being quick makes it pretty easy to keep positioning behind shogun, and deathprize getting para's off helps with breaking the shell / hitting the body a bunch. plus shogun burrowing every so often meant i usually got enough easy opportunities to sharpen and stay in green the whole hunt

I'll have to try this at some point, I always found shogun a bit of a pain
