MH1JP vs MHUS/EU

I was looking through the web and found out there's plenty of differences between the japanese release of Monster Hunter 1 and the USA/EU release, mainly that there was missing content. I was wondering:
- Is it worth to play the Japanese release? Or the is the USA/EU release simply superior because of its added content?
- Does the missing content in MH1JP appear in MHG?
- Can I transfer my USA/EU savefile to monster Hunter G?
- In case the USA/EU is actually superior, is one recommended above the other? (E.g.: monster hunter old school servers only work for one of the two)

- MH1NA/EU did add some additional village quests and the dual blades on top of changing many other parts of the game. Is it superior no. It is a different experience than MH1JP and MHG, but has a major downside for who knows how long, MH1NA/EU cannot access online making over half of the game inaccessible.
- Most of the village quests added in MH1NA/EU appear in MHG with the hidden powder stone quest and the HR dual rath quests not being included (dual rath quest is replaced with the Azure and Pink quest).
- The save transfer is incompatible with MH1NA/EU saves as there are a lot of mechanical differences between 1JP and 1NA/EU such as box space changes and equipment changes.
- As stated above it's not superior just a different experience, and again MH1NA/EU cannot connect to the private server and play online as they used different networking compared to the Japanese games.

Thus, if I wish to play online on the MH Oldschoo private servers I have to use the japanese release right? Just to be sure, this is all kinda new for me. Also thank you for the reply.
