Keyboard in Chat

Is there a better way?
I'm using a USB kybrd but the game wants to use Japanese. I can select a spot that has English alphabet but it's very limited.

Press "L1 + L1 + L2 + R2" to switch to English half width keyboard.

Ahhh thats so much better now! and right after I read this I saw where it tells me that onscreen going into the game!
I was also able to help like 3 others online with the same problem though.
