Lava Canyon location (Question)

My friend and I were playing Monster Hunter Portable 3rd and discovered the location of the Lava Cannon.
We have theorized that it has to do with the ruins seen in the Ceadeus mission, but we are unsure of the location where it could be.
Although Ingel Island is a possibility, we are not sure if they have a connection, and we are also interested in the supposed ship that is in the camp, although we think it could be an airship due to the generation in which the game is set.

Is there any official information that reveals more about this location? We find it very interesting that this location is only in this game and that it can only be faced against Akantor.
