MH Oldschool

Hello,
New here! I got nostalgic and decided to break out the old PS2 Monster Hunter (US) Then I found this site which said I could play the online content and I can't wait to get to that point. I bought the Japanese versions of MH1 MH G and MH2 and all are working great. Thanks to all the info on this site I may add!!
Anyway while playing MH1 Japan I've noticed a few differences but I was stumped when trying to make a Mega Potion. I select Honey then it won't allow me to select potion? (or potion then Honey)
Is mega potion not a thing in the Japanese game?

MH1J is nice, you can use a honey and herb to craft mega potion and skip a step.

Thats so cool!! Thanks!! I'm really having a great time playing it theres just little things that are very different from the US version.
