First, the server itself has undergone some internal refactoring and improvements. These changes aim to enhance the login/logout flow, and they affect all servers. If anyone encounters any new bugs during the login, logout, or returning from quest process, please let us know ASAP so we can address them.
Now, let's talk about MH1. We’ve finally implemented ALL event quests (both JP and US/EU) and fixed the quest rewards to be 100% accurate to their original values. Here’s a list of the changes:
- Velociprey Hunting!: The last missing quest! This is an arena-like quest in Area 2 of FnH. You’ll need to slay 30 Velocipreys while also facing Ioprey and Genprey. It’s a great quest to earn zenny and *prey materials.
- The BBQ Festival!: The quest currently takes place in FnH, but it originally took place in the Jungle with a Gypceros. We will now use the correct Jungle version. Our FnH variation will be retired (though it may return as a special event in the future).
- Felyne Hunting!: Drop rates have been adjusted to match the original values.
- Capture a Yian Kut-Ku!: Drop rates have been adjusted to match the original values (Jewel Tickets are now obtainable through this quest).
- Capture a Khezu!: Drop rates have been adjusted to match the original values (Jewel Tickets are now obtainable through this quest).
- Rulers of Heaven and Earth: Drop rates have been adjusted to match the original values.
- Stop the Giant Dragon!: This is a Lao-Shan Lung quest. We discovered two versions of this quest: the US/EU version, which is harder (30 minutes and includes Claws as a reward), and the JP version, which is easier (50 minutes and no Claws as a reward, though they can still be obtained by carving the monster). We’ve decided to implement the correct JP version (50 minutes and no Claws via quest reward) and keep the original name as a literal translation of the JP version. From now on, we’ll have two different event Lao-Shan Lung quests: the US/EU version (Repel the Giant!) and the JP version (Stop the Giant Dragon!).
- The GMR Heavy Metal Crusade: Since Kingmeat can now be obtained through the BBQ quest, this quest will no longer guarantee a Kingmeat. Instead, it will now award a guaranteed Commendation.
- For MH1, a brand new quest where you’ll have to slay a Rathalos in under 10 minutes, set on a "modified" FnH map (heavily inspired by the "Treasure Hunting!" MHP event quest).
- For MHG, the "Metal Egg" quest will be available (deliver 3 eggs OR slay both Silver Rathalos and Golden Rathian).
- For MH2, the original giant Bulldrome naked arena will be available.
