What is the differences between the First Generation games?

I always see people with doubts about where to start their experiences in the First Generation, especially on which game to play on the server.

Aside of that, i see that a lot of people had the wrong ideia about the MHFreedom/Portable being just a "full port with more things" of MH1G.

So, should you play MH1JP or MH1G?

That depends on you in the end actually.
Most people on the Oldschool server will reccomend the MH1JP then transfer to MHG, since you have usually more players online and you don't lose your equipment on transfer.

So after looking a lot on this matter, i started making a list of the differences between all the games of the first generation.
This document was made to compile all of the differences in the versions and then helping you to choose what will be the best for your own experience.
Be aware that it contains spoilers for unlocking some content in the game!

I looked up a lot of info on the Oldschool server and on some databases and ended up with this.
