its cuz the games started in the playstation two and you could hook it to your tellevision but they later put them in the nintendo 3ds and it was less screen size even tho it was two of them but it was smaller so they had to make monsters fit along with 4 people on the same screen even if they had 2 they had to share cuz they are in real time later on nintendo made the piiu and the switch and its still smaller than the sonies consoles so the monsters have to be small when they take out the consoles out of the house to game onthe train
