Rathalos can go to area 8 of the volcano?!?!?!?!?!

did he spawn in area 8? does anyone know if there are specific parameters to this? such as:

• is an egg carry quest
• player is currently carrying an egg (powderstone)
• rathalos spawned in area X

i would love to see a consistent way of bringing rathalos to area 8

thats the same way its been in every other game i think but its much more blatant in other games, i havent really particularly noticed it in gen 1

in 4u one of my strats was grabbing an egg and just waiting there even though everyone else ran towards the rathalos while i knew hed return to me

Yeah he can, I recommend killing it before getting the powderstone always!

Yes, for example - Yian Kutku in rage often do it. Gypceros can do it.
