Can I go online on mh dos on my PS3?

I'm playing mh dos on my PS3 and was wondering how to make it possible to connect at all? My PS3 is connected to the internet but opening the network settings in game says I'm missing hardware. Is it possible to modify emulator settings (if I could play it in English any other way I would) and make it think hardware is not missing so I can play the portion of the game restricted to multiplayer?

Only very early models of PS3 have access to network play on a PS3 while playing PS2 games.
