Combination problem in MH1J

Hi,
I just started with Monster Hunter 1 Jp with eng patch and MH1J+ patch,
but for some reason i run into a problem ... i can't seem to make Mega potions,
game does not let me select Potions and Honey to combine ...

Does anyone have any idea what i am doing wrong ?
(before i changed to Japanese version i played for a bit in US version and didn't have this problem
and i combine other recipes normally like nets or normal potions
also i am still very early in game , just done the velocyprey quest for village and none in town)

To craft Mega Potions in the Japanese version of MH1 you need to combine Herb + Honey.

Does anyone have the list of the changes? I can’t seem to figure out how to make mega nutrients. It’s not the same as in the wiki website

Mega Nutrients is Godbug + Honey

You can find a full list on the mholdschool wiki. Just make sure to toggle it to MH1 at the bottom of the page.
