Can you solo Monsters hunter G?

One of the reasons I Gave up on Monster hunter Dos was the Health pool low rank monster had.

Like, I understand this is a multiplayer game, but one thing that made me fall in love was the availability to solo stuff.
On multiplayer I feel like I'm being carried...

You can, but the game was never designed around solo play considering it's an online game.

I just consider getting carried to be a part of the game personally.
