Your 3DS and WiiU must have it's DNS set to 34.75.107.68 in your internet settings in order to access the DLC servers.
(The DLC server does not work with SSSL on WiiU)
3DS System Settings
- Enter System Settings
- Select Internet Settings
- Select Connection Settings
- Select the Connection you are using 1, 2, or 3
- Select Change Settings
- On page 2 select DNS
- Set Auto-Obtain DNS to No
- Select Detailed Setup
- For Primary DNS set it as 34.75.107.68
WiiU System Settings with Inkay Plugin
- Enter System Settings
- Select Internet
- Select Connect to the Internet
- Press (X) to enter Connections
- Select the Connection you are using 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6
- Select Change Settings
- On page 2 select DNS
- Set Automatically obtain DNS to Don't Auto-obtain
- For Primary DNS set it as 34.75.107.68

If you do not set the DNS address you will run into error code 090-2415 on 3DS and 140-0015 on WiiU due to a lack of download server.
Error Code 090-2441 on 3DS is caused by the game not being updated to the latest version.

Potential fix for error codes
Checking your firewall or router settings and/or contacting your ISP. If you can't or don't want to, you can use a VPN to hide the DNS requests from your router and/or ISP. Make sure the VPN doesn't also block DNS requests.
When are the other games going to be available?
The DLC servers require connecting to Nintendo Network so no ETA just like the multiplayer servers for the games. Wait for Pretendo to add support for more games first.
