1. Elemental res
Use Road skills, SR skills, guild food (All res+20) to get your elemental res to 55, Fire and Thunder are the most important as they make a lot of victims.
Note: you can use nullberries to heal your zenith blight

2. Road skills, armor skills and guild food for survival
Skilled is an amazing armor skill that gives you weapon handling, true guts and speed eating that can frequently save your life or others life with speed eating and lifepowders.
Revival sage is a road skill increases your revival count by 1.
Bonus encounter is a decent road skill that can make you skip Zeniths and hard monsters by replacing them with Shakalakas (or King Shakalaka) also stacks with other hunters using it.
Wide Range+3 is a very nice guild food that makes Potions, Mega Potions, Antidotes and Anti-Venoms party wide. You can also save people's lives from deadly attacks (Zinogre Aoe, Stygian Zinogre Aoe etc)

Anti-Venoms also reduce damage by 40%

You can increase your cost limit with Cost Books that you can buy at road shop so you can equip more road skills. (Limit is 130 cost points)

3. Good monster choices
If you really want to get to higher floors picking the monsters with the least chances of killing someone in the party will guarantee you success, of course sometimes you have no choice to pick an awful monster that can take some hunter's life.
For example Zenith Khezu can be a good choice because it has a very lenient KO threshold, which is great for stun weapons, Zenith Bogabadorumu is a predictable and slow monster that is pretty safe to hunt if you don't take many risks.
In the end you still have to learn the monsters for best survival chances

4. Damage
Monsters dying quickly is one of the best ways of survival, less the monster does actions, less the chances of getting hit appear. Which is why you should make a Z3-Z4 set and weapon for decent damage. And get your My Missions to 100-170 so your raw attack cap can get higher, also better damage reduction.
