I had done multiple playthroughs of 4U and FU, I think got 120 hours on my gunlance save, 100 on a GS/LS one, 20 on bowgun and some on ls and dbs for FU

Knowing monster patterns and also being patience can help you, remember that you dont have to be literally 1 cm close to the monster, level 3 charge is really good but if you can, go for an golfswing, really good damage, always aim for the head for stuns but also use the damage to trip monsters.

I had actually test it and yeah, arena is the best money maker on this game, you can make a lot of cash very quickly! Will upload a guide about it later

without multiplayer it feels more lonely and the world feels dead, static, like you are the only hunter that cares to hunt. Also, idk how it is with Rise, but a solid amount of content is online-only in almost all of the games afaik, so I'd definitely consider online to be a key part of the experie...
