Ok here's (one of) mine ! https://i.imgur.com/9IFU1sr.png For the story, this character is supposed to be from volcanic areas so I tried to limit myself to Volcanic monsters part for some wearable storytelling. The gun isn't what I usually use, rather what I wish I could if we had layered weapons.

I've tried it by posting an image to imgur quickly but all it gave me (at least in the preview) was an icon because the image couldn't load

oh that is super interesting ! Also a question : how does it work for small monsters ? Are they hosted with the are or are they always hosted by each player individually ? Asking because of their tendency to desynch between screens, leading to stuff like companions looking like they are punching air...

DIfferent setting, different genre, but: I have yet to see a monster hunter fan who doesn't connect with xenoblade chronicles x in a similar way to MH. I'm a simple guy, I love Rathalos. Obviously MH released a lot of Monsters that I love design-wise, gameplay-wise and so on, but nothing beats the still untainted excitement I have when I'm facing off the King of the Skies in another generation

That's not something I can say I really noticed tbh. The only time I noticed disparity in size distribution across different games was Plesioth in 3U. These guys are on average HUUUUGE in games like GU, and noticeably smaller in 3U, and the obvious, most probable reason is that they had to be fought...

I remember seeing MH4 in a store last year and it stunlocked me. Almost bought it too before realizing it would all be in JP. So sure I'd give it a try maybe
