Re: Do You Prefer the Original Control Scheme or the MH2Plus Patch?
For anyone unaware: The MH2Plus patch changes the controls to be more in line with newer MH titles, most notably by moving the camera controls to the right joystick. I prefer the original controls for the blademaster weapons. Mastering the use of the camera snap button makes the claw grip much more...

Honestly one of my faves has to be Espinas, love the sleepy bulldozer, plus it helps that its weapons and armor look fantastic.

Re: What are you guys favorite weapons and why?
It's really hard for me to decide tbh, but it's a three way tie between SnS, HH and GL. I always gravitated towards SnS, it's an incredibly comfy weapon, plenty of mobility, and being able to roll out of a lot of your moves helps out a ton. There is a great hidden spot in area 6 of the jungle too, guaranteed kut-ku scales, multiple at that. Its on the little ledge next to the eggs. It's great for making the kut-ku armour pieces.

Re: So, Who's Enjoying this Open Beta
My desire to play it is honestly pretty low specifically because of the 4-player lobbies. I have practically no interest in online MonHun multiplayer if there's no way to run multiple parties out of the same lobby... and knowing the Japanese version has 10-player lobbies and the game was designed a...

Re: Thoughts on the beginning progression?
It certainly does feel weird having to wait till royal ludroth for any kinda elemental sns, ur first fire sns is gated by giginox too. Other than that though the progression feels fine, even if the weapon upgrades do feel more expensive than in 3U
